SARANAC LAKE — Damoni Wells led the North Country Community College women's basketball team with 18 points for an 86-45 victory over Cayuga Community College in Region III play.

The Saints' Lavender Ward and Kayla Carder chipped in 13 points apiece.

"Saints played tough defense today holding Cayuga to only 28 points in the first three quarters," North Country coach Jerrad Dumont said. "We shot the ball well today from the outside because we got really good looks going inside out."

The Saints led 46-21 at halftime and totaled 10 three-point goals.

Allaysha Gaddy finished with a team-high 11 points, and Tajhia Jones chipped in eight points for the Spartans.
