Roger Long, owner and operator of Adirondack Hardware in Keeseville, NY since 2016. This store was something that Roger promised his family he would take care of when his father was diagnosed from ALS. He carried out his family wishes but his passion lies with basketball. This has been something that he has practiced, played and taught since he was able to hold a ball. He was head coach for the AuSable Valley Patriots for 22 years. Within that time, he carried out a 235-107 record holding 8 division titles, a final four trip, and six 1000-point scorers. He also had 20 years of coaching AAU, 13 years at the Lake Champlain Lakers, and 7 years with Northern Rampage.
Roger not only carries out passion for basketball, but also his family. He is a father of 4 children, Cora age 17, Reece age 12, Averie age 7 and Charlie aged 5. But he cannot handle all of this alone. As his backbone and strong support to all he has done and accomplished is his wife Carrie of 19 years. They have developed a family that supports Roger in all he has done.
Roger supports the community as much as he can. He sponsors youth commission teams and looks forward to donating whenever asked to help support his community. He is well known for his accomplishments, especially all he has done with his basketball career.
