PLATTSBURGH — The North Country women's basketball team defeated Clinton Community College 60-33 Wednesday.

Brooke Howell led the charge for the Saints with 22 points and 16 rebounds.

"Brooke Howell had a tremendous night," North Country coach Jerrad Dumont said. "She did very well with 11 offensive rebounds for us. Everybody shared the ball really well. We didn't have the energy I would have liked, but we took care of business on the road."

Jeanna Manning finished with 15 points, three assists and two blocks to lead the Cougars.
