The North Country Saints opened the second semester of action with a home game against Mountain Valley Conference opponent Hudson Valley Community College.  

The Saints led the vikings 46-23 at the half thanks to there tough and physical defense which seemed to take the Vikings out of each offense that they wanted to run.  The Saints would continue their tenacious defense in the second half to go on and win 86-47. 

"It was the first game back but the way we played today made it seem like we have been on campus all break practicing."  Coach Dumont stated after the game.  "We were ready to play, we were tough, crisp and really had great rotations on our defense which led us to win the game."

The Saints were led by Shaneika Smith with 17 points and a Latifah Fletcher who scored 13 points and pulled down 9 rebounds.

The Saints play at home on Tuesday January 13th against Fulton Montgomery Community College at 6:00 PM.
