SARANAC LAKE — The Saints were ahead 46-39, but then the Hawks' played some tough defense, limiting North Country to 12 points the rest of the way.
Jonathan Thornton (11), Damon Hunter (19) and Malik Wilkinson (10) all finished in double figures for the Saints.
"In the second half, their defense really took us away from our offensive scheme," North Country coach Daryl Crist said.
