PAUL SMITHS — The North Country Community College women's soccer team received goals from four different players Wednesday night en route to defeating Paul Smith's College 8-0.

"It was probably our best game of the season other than the Herkimer game," North Country coach Kent Egglefield said. "We controlled the possession, passed well and shot well."

Morgan Fountain and Chloe Remoundos (2) tallied goals in the first half to give the Saints an early 3-0 advantage heading into halftime.

North Country tacked on five more goals in the second half to round out the scoring.

Chloe Parker, netting her first career hattrick, and Karlee Deaver added goals in the final 45 minutes for the Saints, while Fountain, who was recently named a NJCAA Player of the Week along with goalkeeper Jadeen Chisholm, also tallied a goal in the second half.

Fountain finished with 2 goals and 4 assists on the night, while Karlee Deaver added two assists to go with her goal.

Chisholm finished with six saves in the shutout.

The Saints are now set to take on SUNY Delhi at noon Sunday.

"We've won three games in a row, so hopefully we can continue that Sunday." said Egglefield

**Malone's Morgan Fountain will look to break the Saints all-time scoring record at home this Sunday. She is 1 away from tying the record set in 2013 by Chelsea Lafountain, and 2 away from owning it!
