The Saints' offense was clicking as they cruised to a win over the Tigers.

Off an assist by Alany Gomez, Morgan Fountain put North Country Community College on the board early on with a goal at the 8:00 mark of the first half. Fountain would strike again 18 minutes later to make it 2-0. Chloe Remoundos assisted on the play.

Three minutes before the half, Kylee Cassavaugh headed in a cross from Sarah Slattery to give the Saints a 3-0 lead.

We played down a level in the first half. Coming off a big win vs. Herkimer, we just weren't ready to play." said Saints Coach Kent Egglefield. "I know we were up 3-0, but it wasn't a pretty site to see."

The second half opened with Chloe Remoundos putting in a cross from Chloe Parker that was skipped to her from Fountain for a 4-0 lead. The Saints' offense kept rolling as Parker and Laura Stanton closed out the scoring. The Tigers put a late marker on the board for a 6-1 victory.

Jadeen Chisholm turned aside 8 shots for the victory.

Despite the large margin of victory, Egglefield said he was disappointed at his team's lack of execution and energy.

"We were sloppy," Egglefield said. "We played down to them instead of our game. There's a difference between confidence, and cockiness, and cockiness almost hurt us."
