Saranac Lake, NY- The North Country Men's basketball team won a tough game to SUNY Canton's developmental team on the road on Sunday. After trailing by as many as 17 points in the first half, the Saints were able to tie the game up going into the half. With a strong defensive second half the Saints were able to secure the victory with a 76-62 victory. The Saints were led by Preston Bourda Jr with 21 points and Sharif Sharif with 17 points.
"It was great to get back on the floor after a long break" Dumont stated after the game, "With over 30 days off for vacation, we were quite rusty but after we got settled into our defense we were able to really get out and run on offense."
The Saints will host SUNY Adirondack on January 17th at 7:00PM.
