The North Country Community College volleyball team dropped three sets to Fulton Montgomery Wednesday.
The team lost all three sets 25-17, and coach Megan Czadzeck said the team lost confidence early.
"We had a rough start, and the team quickly got down on themselves," Czadzeck said. "We struggled to regain our confidence."
North Country had strong performances from Molly Sorell (6 kills, 8 digs), Emma Weyand (13 assists), Ashley Sprowl (9 digs) and Brianna McCoy (3 solo blocks).
Czadzeck said that team was able to get a couple of points at the end, which brought back some of its confidence, but it wasn't enough to come back and win.
The first-year program has started the season 0-9. The Saints' next matchup will be against Tompkins Cortland Community College at SUNY Broome Saturday.
