Saints Blanked at Home by Jefferson

Saranac Lake, NY- The North Country Saints women's team lost a tough game at home, 2-0 to visiting Jefferson CC last Wednesday.

JCC scored once in each half as North Country failed to convert on several opportunities.

Despite outshooting the Cannoneers 20-15 on the day, the Saints just couldn't find the back of the net.

"It was hard to watch," Saints Coach Kent Egglefield remarked. "They worked hard and weren't gun-shy about shooting, but nothing would go in. It just wasn't our day."

Hannah Gaddor was outstanding in net making several great saves, incuding one she kept out behind her back. On the day she registered 13 saves.

"Hannah has stepped up anytime we've needed her. Today was no different. She was fun to watch," said Egglefield.

With the loss the Saints fell to 4-2-2 on the season.

GOAT of the Game

No shocker this time as our GOAT was our outstanding freshman keeper Hannah Gaddor. Whether on the ground or in the air, Hannah got to everything she could. She has been a tremendous addition to the Saints this fall and continues to get better every game. She is a natural leader for the Saints, and her passion and heart are hard to match. She has done everything asked of her on the field and more. We couldn't be prouder of you Hannah! Congrats!
