Alison Van Schaik was very strong again in the Saints net turning aside all 8 shots she faced, and Carlijn van der Smeede came up big time and time again on defense.

Sydney VanNest also had a strong game with 2 assists, as did Flannaghan with 2 assists despite missing the entire second half due to an injury. Abby Hart, Imani Thorburne, and Valentine each added one helper.

Valentine and Kavanagh were both named to the all-tournament team with Flannaghan being named the Tournament MVP.

"I am very proud of the girls for the effort they put out this weekend." said Saints Coach Kent Egglefield. "We had people out, injuries, people playing new positions, and there was no quit. They pulled together and got the job done."

The Saints return to action Wednesday as they travel to Syracuse to take on Onondaga. Gametime is 4pm.
