The Saints improved to 3-0 on the season with a statement 4-0 win over Tompkins-Cortland. Kodi Perkins opened the scoring in the first half tapping in a Morgan Fountain pass off a scramble in front. Coming out of the break Courtney Boyea tallied a beautiful volley off a great pass from Perkins at the 4 minute mark. Just 8 minutes later Tori Bennett struck a beautiful shot to go up 3-0 on a feed from Jess Lawrence. Fountain then closed out the scoring with a perfectly placed PK just 6 minutes later. Shelby Egnaczyk was again solid in goal posting 6 saves and improving her record to 3-0. It was also her first career full shutout. "Abbey LaPage, Jess Lawrence, and Morgan Fountain were dominant in the middle of the field today." Said Saints Coach Kent Egglefield. "Our defense was very strong, and our forwards were creative. Very close to a perfect game today. We made quite a statement." The Saints outshot the Panthers 16-7. NCCC is back on the road Wednesday vs. Jefferson CC at 2 pm.
