Saints Lacrosse Has Four Named All-Region

Four North Country Lacrosse players have been named 2019 2nd Team All-Region. They are the first women's lacrosse players to earn this distinction for the program. 

Nidia DeArmaYero

Nidia led the team in scoring in her first year. The freshman attack from Akwesasne, NY had 29 points for the Saints on 21 goals and 8 assists.

 

Ty Taylor

A sophomore captain from Alexandria, VA, Ty was named team MVP and paced an incredibly good Saints Midfield with 13 goals and 6 assists. 

 

Jasmine Cruse

Jasmine, a sophomre from Porter, TX, was the anchor to the Saints defense for two straight seasons. Her discipline, communication, and leadership on defense were a huge reason for the Saints defensive success. 

 

Tameka Patch

Tameka used her speed and intelligence to help lead the top point of the Saints defense. Tameka was the leader of the breakout for the Saints and also led the defense winning 24 gound balls. She is a sophomore from Lennox Head, Australia. 

 

"I couldn't be more proud of these girls making All-Region." said Head Coach Kent Egglefield. "They all were very deserving and it is great for our 4th year program to finally gain legitimacy within our Region."
