Saranac Lake- Lavender Ward led the way with a game-high 24 points. There were 12 other members of the Saints who contributed to the scoring party in the Saints' season opener.
North Country coach Jerrad Dumont was very happy with how his team shared the basketball and communicated on defense.
"I thought that Damoni Wells was phenomenal on the glass with 14 rebounds, and Lavender Ward shot 4-6 from behind the arc.
"I was happy to be able to get everyone significant playing time in our first game."
