The North Country women's basketball team learned a lot on Saturday against Natioanlly Ranked Mohawk Valley Community College.

"I think that they are a very talented team", Coach Dumont stated about the Hawks "But more importantly i think that we learned alot about ourselves and what we need to improve on."

The Saints trailed 18-50 at the half but came out and played much better in the second half loosing the game with a final score of 79-56.

"Overall i think that we improved alot today but most importantly i think that the girls realize how tough our region is" Coach Dumont stated after the game.

The Saints were led by Simone Roberts with 19 points and 7 Assists.

The Saints look to travel to rival Paul Smith's College on Tuesday night.
