Sydney Craig and Brooke Howell each scored 13 points for the Nationally Ranked Saints while Simone Roberts(12) and Demi Battin (11) combined for 23 points.

the Saints maintained a 36-23 lead at the halftime break and continued to hold on throughout the game with great rebounding and tough physical play.

"I think that Clinton's very-much improved from last year," North Country coach Jerrad Dumont said. "I saw some very nice things today as well as some things that we need to work on.  I was very impressed with our aggressiveness as well as our rebounding, however we made quite a few errors."

Brooke Howell had an amzing college debute altering a number of different shots and really being a great presence in the post for the Saints.

The Cougars were led by three players in double figures. Tori Trim (16), Bryce Douglass (11) and Madison Rondeau (11) combined for 38 points.

Trim converted four of Clinton's seven 3-pointers.

The Saints will look to travel to Paul Smith's college on tuesday for a battle of the Adirondacks.
