Saranac Lake- A late second half charge came up just short for the Saints Sunday as they dropped a tough contest to Hudson Valley 78-73. 

Preston Bourda again led the Saints with 21 points, while Ryan Previna added 18 points and 7 rebounds. Cameron Knox had a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds.

"We need to make open shots.  It seems we have struggled to shoot the ball all week at home." stated Head Coach Jerrad Dumont. 

The Saints shot jusy 39% from the field and 18% from three. 

 North Country also got into foul trouble committing 23 personal fouls that led to 19 points off free throws for the Vikings

"Foul trouble is really hurting us this season and it really showed tonight," added Dumont. "Playing our bigs limited minutes.... we need to find a way to keep them on the floor."

North Country is off this week for Thanksgiving break and will return November 29th at home vs. rival Clinton CC.
