SARANAC LAKE — Zach Rice-Gordon poured in a game-high 36 points to lead the North Country Community College men's basketball team to a 96-88 victory over Broome Community College Saturday.
Rice-Gordon knocked down three of the Saints' nine 3-pointers.
Paul Aversa nailed four 3-pointers and totaled 19 points.
North Country improved to 3-3 overall and 2-3 in conference play.
"We played a very good first half taking a 56-45 lead," Saints coach Daryl Crist said. "Broome battled back in the second half to take the lead before we took control down the stretch."
