Saints Gain Redemption Against the Twins

HUDSON — The Saints edged the Twins 88-86, to avenge last Sunday's loss at home.

"It was a back-and-forth game the whole way," North Country coach Daryl Crist said. "They were ahead at halftime by five, but we just stayed tough.

"They hit a three at the buzzer to make the score seem closer at the end than it was.

Crist acknowledged that Ja'quan McGill hit a couple big 3-pointers down the stretch that were key for the Saints.

Damon Hunter finished with 13 assists for North Country.

"I liked the way our guys hang together," Crist said. "We were on the road, and we got two wins in the region. (Saturday) was a battle, and our team is playing with a great toughness."
