Saints Come Out Strong to Beat Adirondack

QUEENSBURY — The Saints built a nine-point lead in first half and kept their cushion at double digits for most of the second.

Brian Donaire pulled down a whopping 22 rebounds for North Country and added 10 points, while Frane Larose had a team-high 17 points along with seven assists. Peyton McLaurin scored 13 and handed out five assists.

"I thought defensively we did pretty nice job and was pretty pleased (that) for the most part we held them to one shot," North Country coach Chad LaDue said. "When we get stops is when we're at our best because we can get some easy transition points."

Adirondack's Sequan Dowe led all scores with 29 points.
