The Saints are coming into their twelfth season under Head Coach Chad LaDue and their sixth season in the Mountain Valley Conference (MVC). With four returners, LaDue is very optimistic about this upcoming season and is holding very high expectations for this year's incoming freshmen class as he looks for them to fill the shoes of NJCAA All-American and Region III Player of the Year Steve Carder, and our trio of top three point shooters Ian Henderson, Steve Poulter, and Jared Heden.
During coach LaDue's tenure, the Saints have accumulated an overall record of 179-136 and in the past ten years they are 55 games over .500. During this time the Saints have captured 2 Northern Independence Conference (NIC) Championships and 7 NJCAA Region III tournament berths. Coach LaDue has graduated many players who have received All-Conference and All-Region and All-American honors.
Looking ahead to every season the Saints pride themselves on becoming a family and working hard, which have led to their continued success on and off the court. As a basketball program, we value our academic success as much as anything, and that shows in our 86% graduation or transfer rate.
Coach LaDue states, "The past 11 years have been very special as we have been able to grow into one of the top teams in the region. Now, our goal every year is to compete for a regional championship."
