For the month of February, Lovell averaged 9.3 points and 8.2 rebounds per game, playing a major role in leading North Country to an outstanding 10–1 record during the month. The sophomore forward was dominant on the glass and provided a strong defensive presence that helped set the tone for the Saints. Lovell’s best performance of the month came in a 77–73 win over Hudson Valley, where he recorded 22 points and 11 rebounds. He also had a huge performance in an 81–59 victory over Fulton-Montgomery, finishing with 20 points and 14 rebounds. For the season, Lovell averaged 9 points and 7.4 rebounds per game. His defensive presence, hustle, and team-first attitude were key factors in keeping the Saints in the national rankings all season, as the team finished with an impressive 26–4 overall record. Lovell is a sophomore cybersecurity major from Brooklyn, New York, and is the son of Victoria Johnson.
