The North Country Saints Male Athlete of the Month for November/December is Shalom Seraphin of the Men's Basketball Team. Shalom, a sophomore captain, helped lead the Saints to an amazing 10-1 start to the season, only losing to the defending National Champion Mohawk Valley in a hard-fought contest. The Saints finished the first semester as the #2 ranked team in the Region also gaining votes as a nationally ranked team. On the season, Shalom leads the Saints in scoring at 16.3 points per game and also leads in assists averaging 3.6 per game. Shalom’s best game of the semester was a 31-point, 8 rebound game in an 80-53 blowout of perennial Region III power Onondaga Community College. He also poured in 22 points in a 77-75 victory over Genesee Community College to close out the first semester. Shalom Shalom is a Sports & Events Management major from Broward County, FL. He is the son of Clorien & George Seraphin.
