The North Country Saints Female Athlete of the Month for January is Chloe LaBelle of the Women's Basketball team. Chloe, a freshman guard, averaged 10.7 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 3.2 assists per game in January. She also added 12 steals in 6 games. Her best game for the month came in a 50-38 win over Finger Lakes CC in which she had 17 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals. She finished the month with 9 points and 11 rebounds in a hard fought 52-51 victory over Tompkins-Cortland CC. She added 3 assists and 3 steals as well. For the year, Chloe finished as North Country’s leading scorer and rebounder after the December graduation of Hannah Gaddor. She averaged 12.7 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 2.5 assists for the season. She led the Saints in 3-point percentage (29%) and free throw percentage (82%), as well as blocked shots (18) on the season. She is a standout on the court and in the classroom. Chloe is a Radiological Technology major from Malone, NY. Her parents are Erich & Christy LaBelle.
