Purvis "Will" Hill came to North Country Community College in the Fall of 1999 and in two short years, epitomized the model of today's stuent-athlete. "To score 1,002 points in 50 games, averaging 20 points per game for two years is pretty impressive." praised Saints' coach Chad LaDue. But if you ask me, the most important thing he did was break down barriers." Will did more for this school and this program off the court than on it;" he continued. "He paved the way for kids outside the area to come to North Country and play. The way he represented this school and his team in the community has made my job easier, said LaDue. A residence of higland Falls, Hill graduated from NCCC in May of 2001 and earned a bachelors of science in sports manangement from Ithaca College in 2003. Currently he is employed as a mortgage lender by Washington Mutual of San Diego, California.
