The Saints' men's basketball team defeated the Spartans by nine points.

"NCCC played a tough Region III game," North Country coach Daryl Crist said. "(We) led at half and lost the lead in second half, but we were able to overcome a three-point deficit to take the win."

The Saints led 40-35 at halftime, and Vondell Livingston led in scoring with 20 points.

Tarique Foggie (9) and Daijion Galloway (8) combined for 17 points for North Country, and the Saints totaled nine three-point goals with Carol Davis scoring three.
