TROY — The Saints could not regain the lead in the second half after a big run by the Vikings.

Hudson Valley led 47-45 at the half.

Donte Crumpler racked up a double-double for North Country with 21 points and 10 rebounds. Sidney Alcena (21) and Damon Hunter (20) also finished in double figures for the Saints.

"We were up by nine in the second half, with about 12 minutes left," North Country coach Daryl Crist said.

"They countered with a run and took the lead, and we never countered. Both teams shot the ball well, but we didn't defend and rebound well enough."

The Vikings were led by Elijah Lott, who finished with a game-high 30 points.

The Saints will host Word of Life Feb. 15 at 7 p.m.
