SARANAC LAKE — The North Country men's basketball team saw plenty of offense in its 104-85 victory against Jefferson Saturday.

As a team, the Saints downed 13 shots from behind the arc, which included five makes by Damon Hunter and four by Tyquan Pointer.

Hunter tied for a team-high 23 points and also added 10 assists for a double-double performance.

"Hunter missed the last couple games, and he's really the wheels that make us go, and he had a good game (Saturday)," North Country coach Daryl Crist said.

The Saints' Donte Crumpler also had 23 points, and he recorded 13 rebounds as well for another double-double.

Tyquan Pointer notched a triple-double with 12 points, 10 assists and 10 rebounds.

"We were in control for most of it," Crist said. "The second half was back and forth, but we came out with intensity and wanted to finish the first semester off on a high note."
