North Country Saints Athletics are proud to announce that Tyquan Pointer and Alexis Brice are our February Athletes of the Month.
Tyquan Pointer
Pointer, a freshman from the Men's Basketball team, averaged 6.1 points and shot 38% from the three point line this season. Tyquan stepped up bigtime in February when he was needed most averaging over 8 ppg including a 14 point game vs. #1 Herkimer, and a 17 point game in the Saints semi-final game vs. Jefferson. Tyquan is a Sports & Events Management major. He is from Baltimore, MD. and is the son of Tiffany Pointer.
Alexis Brice
Sophomore Alexis Brice, from the Women's Basketball team, averaged 9.7 points per game this season. Her strong play in February was highlighted by a 26 point performance vs. Adirondack CC on February 3rd. For the month, Brice averaged over 14ppg. Brice is from Winnsboro, SC. and is a Computer Graphics & Design major. She is the daughter of Shana Harper and Christopher Brice.
