PLATTSBURGH — Sophomore Devonte Wilson scored 25 points, including 13-of-13 shooting from the free-throw line, to lead Mohawk Valley to a 92-71 win over North Country.

Mohawk Valley made 27 free throws.

North Country, meanwhile, struggled from the field and the charity stripe, where it went 9-for-17.

"We just could not hit shots," coach Chad LaDue said. "We missed probably 10 layups, 4-footers in the first half. And against a team as good as Mohawk, you just can't do that."

Brian Donaire was a bright spot for North Country. He scored 19 of his team-best 21 points in the second half.
