Saints beat Twins with 3's

HUDSON — The Saints (15-7, 10-7) converted more 3-pointers (16) than 2-point field goals (14).

"You know, I thought we continued to get better defensively," North Country coach Chad LaDue said. "We held them to 20 points in the first half.

"Offensively, we shared the basketball. It's just nice to see them play when they're willing to make the extra pass.

"With the guys that we have that can shoot from behind the arc, we're able to make 15, 16, 17, 18 threes, if we're willing to go ahead and share it and just play for each other."
