Saints Sweep Road Trip

Friday-

The North Country Saints Women's Soccer team turned in dominant performances over the weekend with a 10-0 victory over Word of Life Bible Institute, followed by an 8-0 victory over SUNY ACC. 

In the Word of Life game, the Saints Alicia Cook tallied 4 times breaking the NCCC Women's Soccer scoring record held previously by Morgan Fountain. Cook would also add an assist.

Nidia DeArmaYero continued her torrid pace with 3 goals and 2 assists as well. Mikaela Bessette, Katie Holvik, and Tameka Patch rounded out the scoring for NCCC. Madison Moon (2), Taylor Razis, Kara Davis, Anna Thrasher, and Olivia Woolheater all added assists for the Saints. Thrasher and Woolheater also shared a shutout in net recording a combined 3 saves. 

Saturday-

The Saints took on Region 3 rival SUNY ACC registering a 8-0 victory. Alicia Cook and Nidia DeArmaYero each scored twice, while Madison Moon, Tameka Patch, Taylor Razis, and Olivia Woolheater added one each. Katie Holvik, Cook, and Razis all added two assists while Woolheater, DeArmaYero, and Amber Bailey each added one. Anna Thrasher and Woolheater once again shared a shutout combining for 4 saves on the day.  

After the weekend, Alicia Cook now leads all of Region III as well as the entire NJCAA in scoring with 54 points. DeArmaYero is in second in both with 52 points while leading the nation with 21 goals.
