"Our defense has been amazing lately," said Head Coach Kent Egglefield. "Jenny, Taylor, Lex, Cassidy, Alexa Clark, and Emily... I can't say enough good things about how they've been playing. To have a keeper like Shelby with four shutouts in her last five games helps as well."

"Everything is clicking right now, the offense, the midfield, the D, and of course Shelby." added Egglefield. "Chloe Nott and Jasmin Barnes have just taken their games to another level and Jenny and Taylor are two of the best backs in the region. There are no others I'd take over them."

The Saints improved to 9-7 on the season after a 2-6 start nearly drowned them.

"This is a resilient bunch. I'm so proud of all of them and their hard work lately. Its been a complete team effort by every girl on the roster."

The Saints close out the regular season Tuesday vs. Clinton CC at home. Game time is 1pm.
