Jessi Lawrence and Morgan Fountain have been named to the 2014 Mountain Valley Conference All Star team. 

Jessi Lawrence- Center Mid

Lawrence, a Senior from Malone, NY, is the Saints Captain.  Despite playing the role of a Defensive Holding Midfielder, she still finished the regular season with 5 assists and often led the Saints transition from defense to offense. 

"Jessi has been everything you want in a Captain and more this year. She works hard, plays hard, and always leaves it on the field. Her defensive presence and ability to transition our team to the attack is the best I've had in my time here. She's relentless for 90 minutes every game. I couldn't ask her for anything more. She's an amazing young lady on the field, in the classroom, and in general. She's been a great leader and representative for North Country."- Head Coach Kent Egglefield

Morgan Fountain- Striker

Fountain, a Freshman from Malone, NY, is an Alternate Captain and the Saints leading scorer posting one of North Country's best rookie years ever with 12 goals and 8 assists in 12 games played. After spending her first 6 games as an attacking mid, Fountain moved to striker for the Saints.

"I can't praise Morgan enough. She's such a great combo of speed and strength... everything you want from a forward. As hard a worker on the field as you will find. She plays with fire and passion and I love that about her. Excellent leadership qualities. She's an incredibly special player and an even better kid."- Head Coach Kent Egglefield

Fountain is also a Nursing Major at NCCC
