Tytiana Taylor has been a standout player for the Saints all season and has recently received regional recognition as she was named the NJCAA Division III Player of the Week. This award comes after a great week of Basketball for not only the Saints Team but also Ty as an individual. In the Saints first game of the week against Herkimer, Taylor scored 16 points and added 9 rebounds and 5 assists. She then followed up that performance leading the Saints to victory over #2 nationally ranked Mohawk Valley CC with 21 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists. To finish the weekend, Tytiana continued serving as the floor general as she led the Saints to a 80-69 victory over Columbia-Greene CC with a double-double including 28 points, 9 rebounds, and 11 assists. Throughout last week, Taylor averaged 21.5 points per game along with 9 rebounds and just over 7 assists.
Taylor and the Saints will host local rival, Clinton Community College on Wednesday January 31st. The game will tip off at 5:00 PM in Sparks Athletic Complex.
