SARANAC LAKE — The North Country Community College women's basketball team defeated Cayuga Community College 85-54 Sunday.
Kiara Sweeney finished with a team-high 15 points for the Saints.
North Country jumped out to a 37-25 lead at the half.
Saints coach Jerrad Dumont said Demerika Moseley, Aaliyah McCrae and Bailee Gauthier played big minutes in the second half.
"We did a few things different in the second half," Dumont said. "Demerika Mosely and Bailee Gauthier played really well for us in the second half and so did Aaliyah McCrae."
Mosely scored 10 points, Gauthier added nine points, and McCrae finished with six points.
