Wayne Cowan enters his 2nd year as North Country's Head Men's Soccer Coach. Cowan attended North Country after graduating from Chateaugay High School in 2014. While at NCCC, he majored in Sports and Events Management and Independent Studies where he received his Associates Degree in 2018. Wayne played soccer throughout High School continuing his career as a member of the North Country Saints Men's team. For the past five seasons, Cowan has served as the Head Women's Assistant.
Cowans's main goal is to recruit athletes who are highly-skilled and prepared to put in the work to compete annually for the Mountain Valley Conference and Region 3 Championship.
"I'm very excited to be taking over the Men's Program here and look forward to building the program to an even higher level then it has been before." states Cowan.
Cowan resides in Saranac Lake, New York, and also works at the Whiteface Lodge in Lake Placid, New York,
