Chad LaDue has served as North Country’s Athletic director since 2010. Before that he served as the assistant athletics director and Head Men’s Basketball Coach.

LaDue spent 14 years at the helm of the North Country Men's Basketball program. After taking over in the 2002-2003 season, Coach LaDue has helped revive the Saints program. In his first year, North Country struggled through a difficult 7-19 campaign but surprised everyone by upsetting area rival Paul Smith's College in the Northern Independence Conference Championship game. The next eleven seasons were extremely successful as North Country went a combined 205-146, with an overall record of 233-176.  During his tenure, the Saint's captured the 2004 and 2006 NIC regular season titles and walked away with the 2003, and 2005 NIC Tournament championships. The Saints also returned to the Region III Tournament for the first time since 1991, picking up a sub-regional bid, in 2004, 2007 and going all the way to the 2005, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2013, 2014, and 2015 regional quarterfinals.

LaDue received the honor of Region III Coach of the Year for the 2003-2004 season. In 2009 he recorded his 100th victory and became the second at that time to do so in the saints' basketball history. In 2014, LaDue recorded his 200th victory in just 13 seasons. He has the most victories in Saint's basketball history with 233.

LaDue is an alumnus of North County Community College, graduating in 1995, with an Associates Degree of Recreation Facility Management. He was a dual athlete in the sports of soccer and basketball, achieving region III All-Star Status. After graduation, Coach LaDue was recruited to play soccer, basketball, and baseball for the State University of New York at Utica/Rome. His hard work, dedication, and leadership helped lead the Wildcats to their first ever appearance in the SUNYAC Men's Basketball Tournament. In 1997, Chad graduated with a Bachelors degree in Business Public Management. In August 2013 Coach LaDue received his MBA in Sports Management from Columbia Southern University.

LaDue is originally from Norfolk, New York and was an All Northern three-sport athlete at Section X's Norwood-Norfolk High School. LaDue and his wife Becky, who is a faculty member at North Country, reside in Saranac Lake with their daughter, Alex and son, Landon.
